Year 1- People's reactions to my new character.

For a project during the first year I had to create a character. I decided that i wanted to get to know my character as best i could so i became my character by dressing up. I wanted to walk through town dressed in what you could describe as 'chavvy' clothing. I stuffed a pillow up my jumper and made my baby bump perfectly rounded. When i was walking around town i decided to smoke a cigarette to see what reactions i could provoke out of the general public. My slideshow shows sneaky snap shots that i managed to take of my experience. The reactions that i did receive were very negative, a lot of people were starring at me and made comments. All in all it was quite a scary experience and one i will never forget! It gave me an insight to see what it would be like to be in someone else's shoes.
